Why on earth would a commercial real estate broker or commercial property manager create anything online without a photo or image? I am just amazed at those who do. Every message you post should contain an image. Give your clients the most bang for the buck! Come on folks, if you are going to go through the trouble of joining a group, or adding a HAVE to theBrokerList or creating a blog post or adding your property space for lease, how on earth can you not take the extra step to add a photo.
If you do business with NNN single tenant deals, you need a library of those signs or the corporate logos in your photo library as well. As you drive from property to property, snap a photo of the entrance, or the intersection signs. Anything to show the viewer or readers where the property is or an important feature.
theBrokerlist accepts images, URL links and a photo of each member with each profile. I have found that many people make comments to me that they found another commercial real estate broker on our site, merely by the presence of their graphic on our home page. I was pleasantly surprised that so many of us have branded ourselves with our own image.
When folks do shares via social media, your images travel with it. If it is connected to a Facebook page and just has words, it is not noticed. Now connect it to an image and people click on it. I promise you it works!
So how can you add your company and not upload the corporate logo? Do you not have one? Why not give your firm FREE advertising? More and more I see folks skip these opportunities. In commercial real estate, it is not about skipping opportunities, it is about aggressive tactics to give you, your firm and your clients exposure. Now, if you are not sure how to upload images, please ask us. We are glad to help you and will do it for you, if we need to. Today a commercial real estate professional should not display a profile without either a photo of themselves, their firm or a property image. Again, if you need, help, just ask, but do not skip this vital tool.
Do yourself, your company and your clients a favor and get more bang for the buck: add an image!
