How To Add Tenant Lease Information In ClientLook
ClientLook commercial real estate software makes it easy to track tenant lease information for contacts or companies and link that information to the appropriate property record within our CRM. The example below assumes that you have already created a record in ClientLook for both the tenant and the property.
On the contact’s “Properties” tab, click the “Relate a property” button.
Type a portion of the property name or address, then pause a second to allow the system to search for matches. Select the property from the resulting picklist.
Choose a relationship to the property. In this case, we want to select “Tenant”.
This will open up some extra fields related to the lease. Fill in the suite number, floor, occupied square footage and lease expiration date. None of the fields are mandatory, so fill in whatever information you have. To save it, click the “Relate this property” button.
Once the record has saved, you will see this tenancy information displayed along with any other properties you have related this contact to. You can link contacts and companies to properties with various other relationships, such as owner, prospect, investor, etc. You can even add your own custom relationship types.
Now, let’s look at the property record that you related this contact to. On the “People” tab, you’ll find all the contacts and companies that you related to this property. You can narrow the list down to only a certain relationship type using the “Show” filter at the top. You can sort this list based on any of the columns at the top simply by clicking on the column header for the column you want to sort by.
