Digsy AI is headed by Andrew Bermudez, former Lee & Associates SVP and highly connected individual in the CRE tech industry. Andrew and his partners at Digsy AI have vowed to help Xceligent employees with warm introductions to potential employers. When Xceligent abruptly declared Chapter 7 bankruptcy and closed its doors in mid-December, SpotCRE and QuantumListing leaped into action to reach out and create a commercial real estate and CRE tech community-wide effort to help the hundreds of employees laid off just before the holidays. Using a simple Google Form, they created the Xceligent Job Matching Xchange (XJMX) for former Xceligent employees and potential employees. The form is embedded below. You can find the spreadsheet with potential employees HERE.
Influencers throughout the CRE and CREtech communities have been very helpful and supportive in using their social media networks to help spread the word about the XJMX. Organizations like Linda Day Harrison’s The Brokers List, CRE//Tech, The News Funnel, Duke Long, and countless others have been incredible about sharing this with their networks. As a result, dozens of former employees have added their name to the list, providing contact information and resumes. Some employers have also added their information, while others have been checking out resumes and contacting potential employees directly. The former Xceligent employees are very grateful to the community for the assistance.
It’s terrific that Andrew has gone above and beyond to proactively assist in this effort. We welcome his support, and hope that others will follow his example.
