We’ve added a new feature to QuantumListing account profiles. It is Network News. Here’s what you need to know about it.
We are assigning all of our registered users to Networks based on one of three indicators. If you have added listings, we’ll add you to the network for the state(s) in which you have listings. If you don’t have listings, we’re adding you to the network that corresponds to the area code of the phone number on your account profile. Your phone number is an imperfect indicator of your area of interest, since few people change their cell phone number if they move to a different area of the country. Hence, we have provided a method for you to tell us what network(s) you would like to join. Fill out the form below or click HERE. In the future, we’ll provide a mechanism for you to opt in and out of networks.
If you are logged into your account, you’ll find Network News in the column of menu options on the left hand side of the page. When you click on Network News, you will see a page that will have items like the following:
If you click on the Agent or Enterprise name, you willl go to that user’s account profile. If you click on an action about a listing such as “Listing was edited” or “LIsting was created,” you’ll go to that listing. If you click on an action pertaining to an agent, you’ll go to the agent’s profile.
If you don’t see any items in your Network News, don’t panic! It means that none of your fellow network members have made any changes to their listings or account profiles since you were added to the network. Make it a habit to check back periodically so you can stay on top of what’s going on in your market. Better yet, be the newsmaker! Beef up your profile by adding a profile picture, bio, and social media links, or add or update a listing.
Network News will get more useful over time as more users are added to your network. As more user join and listings are added, we’ll create networks for regions or cities as well as for states. We can also create networks to match asset classes of interest. Additionally, we’ll be responsive to your suggestions and requests, so, please speak up if you have any ideas you would like us to consider.
Please take a moment now to fill out the form below to let us know your network preferences.
