What if just one tool could streamline your brokerage processes? You do everything you can to support your brokers. On some days, your marketing team may spend hours creating proposals and flyers to help them win listings and close deals. At the same time, your emails and websites each have to be created individually—and include plenty of manually-inputted information about each property. What if these documents, emails and webpages took only minutes to create, instead of all day? What if just one tool could streamline the entire process?
1. How does Buildout help you create your documents?
You already know that brand-aligned documents help your brokers close more deals, but manually creating each proposal, OM, flyer, brochure and owner’s report takes time. That’s why, when you start working with Buildout, our design and client services teams will help set up layouts for all of these documents, so they are ready to go when you need them. All you have to do from there is enter property information that instantly populates into all of your documents and marketing materials. When you’re ready to create your first document, our document editor automatically displays the most important information in an easy-to-use platform—meaning you’ll be able to create, edit and publish your documents in minutes.
Our editor also allows you to experiment with different layouts, tailoring each document for a specific property and purpose. For example, if you’re wondering how a demographics map would look on page 4, create one by clicking a checkbox on the left-hand sidebar. Your map will automatically populate with information from the United States Census, so there’s no need to consult a third-party source. You can also customize your demographics radii and decide how much detail to include for each property’s location. Even if you change your mind, it only took you a few seconds to build.
Buildout’s document editor automatically populates your marketing documents, then lets you choose which features, photos and text to include in the final version.
Buildout also offers fully automated, high-resolution maps that are immediately integrated with all of your marketing materials. Location maps can be populated into each document, making it easy to include useful visuals about the areas surrounding each property. You can also create customized retailer maps that call out specific points of interest near your properties, or map out your comparables.
2. How does Buildout streamline all your other real estate marketing activities?
Although Buildout’s standout value lies in the time it saves creating beautiful, brand-aligned documents, the platform also streamlines all of your brokerage’s other marketing activities. Buildout makes creating marketing emails and property websites quick and easy, and it stores all your documents within secure, customizable document vaults.
53% of people read email on their mobile devices, meaning that your email designs need to be effective and engaging on every screen and email platform. Buildout saves you time trying to troubleshoot design problems by providing an email format that’s guaranteed to display your brand correctly in every inbox.Once you’ve inputted information on your listings into the platform, you can create three different types of emails to market them. If you’re looking to generate general interest among your leads, try our multi-property emails, which feature up to 20 listings to appeal to larger audiences. If you’re trying to reach a more targeted audience with a single property, use the individual property emails to highlight property-specific photos and information. Space needs email layouts allow you to easily communicate with your brokers, informing them of specific space requests from customers and leads. With Buildout, you always have pre-designed emails ready to go, helping you spread your message as quickly and effectively as possible.
Buildout has three different email template options that can be tailored to your marketing goals
- Property websites
Buildout automatically creates a website for every property you input into the platform. Although all the necessary information is initially included, you still have the ability to customize the content and share your Buildout property documents—such as flyers, brochures and OMs—on the sites. Each website has its own editable area in Buildout, where you can decide which features, including photos, documents, maps and banner text, to show. In the documents area, you can also choose which specific documents you’d like published publicly on your property website.Because these are individual property websites, they exist on private links. This allows brokers to provide information on a property that isn’t yet ready to be published to your brokerage’s site, for example, when they want to send their marketing materials to an owner before the listing goes public.
Buildout automatically creates individual websites for each listing.
- Company website property search
In addition to property websites, you can publish individual pages to your brokerage’s website straight from Buildout to populate your company’s property search page. This way, anyone can easily search through all your properties to find those most relevant to them. Because your property websites stay within the domain of your brokerage website, Buildout improves the overall SEO for your business.
Users can easily search through individual property pages that live on your brokerage’s website.
- Document vaults
Buildout’s document vaults allow you to control who has access to your assets, enforce electronic confidentiality agreements and track user activity. You can also use our vaults to understand more about who is viewing your document––for example, you can put an Offering Memorandum behind a password protected vault that requires contact information to access. That way, you can learn the job title, name, email and phone number of everyone who downloads the document.
There are three types of vaults—open, simple and restricted. If your documents are in an open vault, anyone who comes to the website can create their own profile, sign a CA, and access property-specific documents, and you can track their activity to identify leads. Simple vaults require one common password for access, allowing you to share documents with your team or company. Finally, restricted vaults give specific people access to specific information, like due diligence documents, accessible only with a unique username and password.
Time is money, and time spent on tedious marketing activities could be better spent elsewhere. Buildout’s documents and features streamline your brokerage’s marketing activities, helping you compete and grow. Interested in learning more about how Buildout can help you scale your brokerage?
